Online Shopping: Dermstore

OS1dermstore One sad thing about the U.S is that not all restaurants deliver. McDonald’s doesn’t deliver. And they don’t have spaghetti. But anyway almost everything here can be bought online. Woohoo! This is specially helpful for me since I am still highly dependent to my SO cos I still can’t drive here and everything is miles away.

Aside from the world-famous Amazon, which I am taking advantage of, there are a ton of online stores you can get anything from. You got online store for house stuff, health and beauty, groceries, flowers, medicine, cars, and pet stuff. It’s convenient. Since my skin started breaking and drying out, I’ve been on several health and beauty stores looking for the perfect products to help my face. One of the online stores I tried was Dermstore.

Usually I would just do Amazon, but if I don’t want L to find out that I’m buying stuff again, I go somewhere else. Also sometimes Amazon doesn’t have everything Prime-enabled. Then I came across Dermstore from Lisa Eldridge’s page. Woah, they have got a wide selection of brands! All those stuff in the photo are from Dermstore and if I remember correctly, some were even discounted.

I am known to be a bit impulsive when it comes to online shopping and also a bit on the gullible side. I went and purchased stuff without really reading about Dermstore first. After placing an order, I got an email saying there’s a problem with my address. Checked it, tried calling them, no answer. Then I read about Dermstore reviews. Some people say they have the worst customer service, the people are difficult to deal with, some got expired products and the supposed freebies didn’t come with the purchase. Now these things are not good and I honestly got worried about my purchase.

When I finally got hold of their customer service people, I asked about the problem, the woman confirmed my address and went ahead to complete my transaction. It was marked processing and ready for shipping. It went well though you can sense in her voice that she’s out of touch with her job. Like it’s just a routine, no excitement, no charm, nothing. But hey, she got my order sorted. So I guess that’s fine. When my order arrived, true enough the freebies weren’t there. The products are not expired though, whew!

Overall I think I would purchase from Dermstore again. Make sure to place an order before 5pm so if anything goes wrong, you can talk to someone right away and they can sort the order out ASAP!
